Android Wear smartwatches may not have the hype that they once had following their initial launch a few years ago, but they can continue to be exciting in many ways. One of the first truly exciting and massively popular smartwatches from the Android Wear platform was Huawei's original Huawei Watch, and right now you can pick up the Gold Plated stainless steel model for just $315, which is down from its normal retail price of $750, which is a pretty steep discount if you were looking to get a smartwatch that had a little more style to it without breaking the bank.
The Huawei Watch comes with a 1.4-inch Full Circle AMOLED display, and it's protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal to make sure that the screen on the watch doesn't get damaged too easily from banging up against walls or anything else. It's also IP67 certified for dust and water resistance, comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and a 300mAh battery. It also originally came with Android Wear 1.0, but it started receiving the Android Wear 2.0 update as of last Spring, so the software should be updated on this model as well soon after powering it on.
