Anker's Nebula Capsule Android Smart Projector Now Available - CES 2018

With CES 2018 officially about to get started, Anker has taken the opportunity to announce availability for its Nebula Capsule at the event. This is a smart projector offered by Nebula, a sub-brand of Anker, and a product which originally made its debut as an Indiegogo project back in September of last year. By November the Nebula Capsule had surpassed its goal (by some margin) and now is available to buy from Amazon for $349.

While this is just another smart projector, it is not quite the same as most of the other smart projectors currently available. Most notably due to this one coming in an ultra-compact size. In fact, Anker likens the size and shape of the Nebula Capsule to that of a soda can, offering buyers the ability to reap the benefits of a fully functional smart projector without having to compromise on size. Speaking of the benefits, this is a device which can project an image up to a size of 100-inches, and also comes with some fairly impressive audio features, including the employment of 360-degree design which provides audio in just about every direction.

Adding to its appeal, this is also a device that runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). As such, users will be able to consume audio and video content through all the major Android apps available through the Google Play Store. All of course without having to connect the device to a smartphone in the first place. Although it can also connect and be controlled by a smartphone when required via its dedicated Android app, as well as also connecting to other smart devices in general through Bluetooth, or through the included HDMI port. In terms of battery life, the Nebula Capsule is rated to offer up to four hours of continuous usage when playing video and that number increases significantly (up to 30 hours) when used as a speaker for audio playback. In either case, Anker notes how Quick Charge technology is included for faster recharging and the device is fine to use while being connected to a wall socket and charging. As mentioned, the Nebula Capsule smart projector is now in stock and available to buy from Amazon, priced at $349.
