Alcatel Said To Announce 1, 3, And 5 Series Phones This Week

Alcatel has been rumored to announce the 1, 3, and 5 series phones this week. What's more is that the rumor states these will be official announcements from the company. Those who paid attention to Alcatel at CES 2018 this past week may have seen that Alcatel did tease these three new phones and it did have them to show off at its booth during the conference, but Alcatel has yet to officially announce any of them, or share every detail pertaining to each device, such as the full specs list, region availability, launch date, and pricing.

While the rumor does mention that Alcatel will be officially announcing new phones this week, it does not specifically mention which phones these would be. These could be the 1x, 3v, and 5, as these are all phones which Alcatel teased at CES, but it's also possible that the announcements could be about different phones from the series, even if it's unlikely. There's no confirmation about the prices on these phones just yet, but according to the details discovered at CES, the Alcatel 1x will end up costing under $100, while the Alcatel 3v will cost under $200, and the Alcatel 5 will cost under $300.

If those prices are correct then the phones announced this week from Alcatel may end up having the same costs, but that's also considering Alcatel actually unveils the pricing along with the phones during their announcement. Though Alcatel may announce three new phones this week there's no clarification so far on when exactly the announcement date is. With it being Monday, the announcement will most likely happen sometime within the next few days. Three of Alcatel's new phones, which you can see above, are the 1x 3v, and the 5, with the 5 being the model that's displayed in the middle with the dual rear-facing camera setup. All three phones also have fingerprint sensors on the back, and will likely come in a few different colors. The rumor, which mentions the announcement, is from January 13th which was last Saturday, so the announcement for each phone should be coming up sometime soon, or at least before this coming weekend.
