6GB RAM Motorola Moto X4 Is Now Official In India

Last week, Motorola India teased the arrival of a new variant of the Moto X4, and that model has just been announced in the country. The 6GB RAM variant of the Moto X4 has been listed on Flipkart for a while now, but other than its RAM count, we had no info regarding the phone. That listing actually suggested that a 6GB RAM model will be announced by Motorola soon, and that is exactly what happened.

The 6GB RAM Moto X4 follows the 3GB and 4GB RAM variant which have been available in the country since November last year, while the phone was originally announced back in August last year. Having said that, it’s worth noting that the all-new 6GB RAM Moto X4 is not a part of Google’s Android One project, even though Android One Moto X4 did get announced in the US last year. In any case, other than the difference in RAM, this phone also ships with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, but other than that, the device is completely identical to the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the phone. The Moto X4 is made out of metal and glass, it sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and a dual camera setup on the back. On-screen buttons are included here, and the phone does not exactly have the thinnest bezels around, but they’re not exactly that thick either.

This Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch fullHD LPTS IPS display, while in addition to 6GB of RAM, also offers 64GB of native storage, which you can expand using a microSD card slot. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels this smartphone, while a 3,000mAh non-removable battery is also included here, and it supports Motorola’s Turbo Charging. A 12-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this phone, while you will find a 16-megapixel camera on the device’s front side. Two SIM card slots are included here as well, a hybrid setup, while the device comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included here as well, and so is Bluetooth 5.0 LE. The 6GB RAM Moto X4 model comes in Super Black and Sterling Blue color variants, and it is priced at Rs. 24,999 ($393), while it will be available exclusively from Flipkart online starting on February 1, as well as Moto Hub stores in 100 cities in six states across India.
