The UMIDIGI S2 Pro is UMIDIGI's most powerful and probably best-looking smartphone to date, and the company has just released two new video clips in order to promote this smartphone. The first video has a duration of about one minute, and in addition to showing off the phone's design, it also emphasizes some of its features. In this video, UMIDIGI is trying to prove that the UMIDIGI S2 Pro can be a great gaming smartphone, as it's powerful enough for gaming, and yet it's not hard on battery as some other phones are.
Now, this promo video is more or less battery-focused through-and-through, as the second, and the last test that the company conducted is battery-focused as well. The company has decided to play some video clips on the UMIDIGI S2 Pro and the OnePlus 5T in order to compare battery consumption on both smartphones, though truth be said, the OnePlus 5T has a considerably smaller battery pack, 3,300mAh compared to UMIDIGI S2 Pro's 5,100mAh battery, and the OnePlus 5T's SoC is also considerably more powerful than the one included in the UMIDIGI S2 Pro, so it's to be expected that the UMIDIGI S2 Pro has a better battery life. The UMIDIGI S2 Pro was compared to the OnePlus 5T in both the gaming and video playing tests, and it came out on top in both cases when the battery is concerned, not by much, but it pushes aside the OnePlus 5T's mainly thanks to its 5,100mAh battery pack, which is not removable, by the way.
The second video clip that the company shared is promoting the phone's 'Face ID' feature. In this short video clip you will be able to see the phone's facial recognition feature in action, all you have to do is hit the power key, and your face needs to be pointed at the phone's display in order for it to work, it actually works similarly to the OnePlus 5T's facial recognition feature in that regard. Having said that, the UMIDIGI S2 Pro is currently available for pre-order over at Banggood, in case you're interested, the phone is currently discounted by $40, so you can purchase it for $299.99. Those of you who are not familiar with the UMIDIGI S2 Pro should know that this phone packs in 6GB of RAM, 128GB of native storage, and that it is fueled by the Helio P25 64-bit octa-core SoC. The device also features a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, and comes with 13 and 5-megapixel rear-facing cameras.
