Meizu mBlu S' Retail Box Leaks Along With Phone's Pricing

A new image has just leaked, suggesting that a new Meizu-branded smartphone is on its way. If you take a look at the provided image, you will see a retail packaging of a new smartphone that is coming from Meizu’, while the ‘mBlu’ logo is imprinted on that package. The company actually separated itself into several departments earlier this year, with Blue Charm aka mBlu being one of them, and this department is expected to release the company’s entry-level and mid-range devices, along with some accessories.

Now, the name of this device seems to be the mBlu S (aka Blue Charm S), and the logo that is imprinted on the box has not yet been confirmed by the company, but it had surfaced a couple of times thus far. Having said that, the price point of this phone has also surfaced, the device will, allegedly, cost 2,500 Yuan ($378). The device will, according to the provided info, be announced next month, and the pricing info is rather interesting, it suggests that this may be a really powerful mid-range offering from the company. It is worth noting that the Meizu M6s had been leaking for a while now, the company’s upcoming smartphone which will sport somewhat thin bezels, it seems, so it is possible that this is the same device we’re talking about here. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, though, so we can only guess, of course. One thing is for sure, though, this smartphone will be announced in China first, and as soon as we get the date of that launch, you’ll be the first to know.

Having said that, Meizu did say that it is planning to announce a ‘bezel-less’ smartphone next year, though that phone won’t be mBlu-branded, it will carry the regular Meizu branding, as it will be the company’s flagship phone. The device will be called the Meizu M15 Plus, it seems, as the company’s CEO already shared the retail packaging of that device. Several iterations of the phone’s design leaked, so we’re not completely sure what to expect, but everything will become much clearer in the Sprint, when this phone is expected to land, so stay tuned for that.
