Deal: Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch/Fitness Tracker for $269 - 12/12/17

Amazon has the Fitbit Ionic on sale right now, coming in at just $269. That's down from its regular price of $299. Given the fact that the Ionic only just launched a little over a month ago, it's surprising to see any type of price drop here, but definitely nice to see indeed.

The Fitbit Ionic is the company's latest attempt at a smartwatch, and it has done fairly well. It's a fitness tracker first, so it'll track all of your usual metrics like steps taken, workouts, calories burned, your sleep and so forth. It also tracks your heart rate all day long and is swim proof. In fact, it will actually track your swimming, which is a nice feature to have. On the smartwatch side of things, it's still a bit early and Fitbit has just a couple of apps available like Starbucks, and Pandora, but more are coming. You also have the weather and a few other things available for you here.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap next-day shipping if you need it here extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime by hitting the link below. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year. Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits. Remember that if you are looking to pick this up as a gift for someone this holiday season, you'll need to order it by December 18th for non-Prime shipping, and if you are a Prime member, you have until December 22nd, to get it in time for the Holidays. Amazon does also offer extended returns for anything purchased before December 31st, can be returned until January 31st, 2018.
