Deal: APC Back-UPS Pro w/ Surge Protectors Starting at $85 – 12/27/17

Amazon and B&H Photo are discounting a number of APC Back-UPS Pro with Surge protectors, with them coming in as low as $85. This is part of B&H Photo's year-end sale, which ends tomorrow night. There's no word on when Amazon's will end, at this point, but likely around the same time.

The cheapest one on sale right now is just $84.99, and that's down from its regular price of $125, so a pretty good price there. It has 850 VA/510W output and 120VAC @ 60Hz input. There is also 8 total NEMA5-15R outlets, with four battery backups and surge outlets, with 4 surge-only outlets, and a NEMA5-15 input connection that is a 6-foot long cord. There's also Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) included here with a lifetime data-recovery warranty. This is going to be a good investment if you have a lot of things plugged in, in a small area in your home. Like your entertainment setup, or if you have a home office. That way everything is protected, and if you do lose power at home, you also still have WiFi, with the built-in battery. Which is always a necessity.

Both Amazon and B&H Photo are offering up extended returns for items bought through December 31st, 2017. Amazon offers returns through January 31st, 2018, and B&H Photo offers returns through February 1st, 2018. Both offer up free shipping with Amazon doing it with Prime (And you can sign up for a free trial here) and B&H Photo doing free next-day delivery in the US. Finally, B&H Photo does charge taxes in New York and New Jersey.
