OUKITEL fairly recently made available a new smartphone, the OUKITEL C8. This one looked to offer buyers an entry-level option that came with some fairly impressive specs for the price. Now OUKITEL is building on the success of the OUKITEL C8 by releasing a newer model with a few notable upgrades, and all with a view to maintaining that very low price. The new model is called the OUKITEL C8 4G and as the name suggests, one of its key selling points is its support 4G LTE. Something the original OUKITEL C8 model did not offer.
Although that is not the only notable change as OUKITEL has also confirmed that the newer version will come powered by a MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor, compared to the MediaTek 6580A found in the original model. Besides this, the OUKITEL C8 4G will also feature a 5.5-inch display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio resulting in a bezel-less design. Inside, the OUKITEL C8 4G will come loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Additional features include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor, and Android 7.0 (Nougat) at launch. In addition, the OUKITEL C8 4G will also be available in a variety of different color options.
As for the cost, while not confirmed it is currently suggested that the OUKITEL C8 4G will hit the market priced as low as $89.99. Which is a very low price for a phone boasting these specs and some premium design points including a bezel-less display. At present, it is understood that the OUKITEL C8 4G will first become available to pre-order during the upcoming 11/11 (aka Singles' Day) shopping event in China. So it is only a matter of days before the price of the OUKITEL C8 4G is confirmed and pre-orders become available. In the meantime however, the company has now released a new 3D video showcasing some of the design points on offer with the upcoming phone, as well as the various color options it will be available in.
