OnePlus 5T Can Now Be Purchased In India, Starting At $512

The OnePlus 5T is now available for purchase in India. The device was announced earlier this month, globally, and the company hosted several flash sales in India thus far, but the phone was not available for open purchase, until now. Those of you who live in India can now purchase this handset from both Amazon and OnePlus store. Having said that, both the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants of the phone are now available in India, the 6GB RAM model will set you back Rs. 32,999 ($512), while you’ll need to splash out Rs. 37,999 ($589) if you’d like to get the 8GB RAM one. It’s also worth noting that only the Midnight Black variant of the phone is available for purchase.

Now, along with the phone itself, both of the retail channels we’ve mentioned have launch offers as well. You can get Rs. 1,500 ($23) cashback if you’re using the HDFC Bank credit or a debit card, 1-year free membership to Zomato Gold is yet another launch offer, as is a complimentary 12-month Servify accidental damage insurance plan. These are only some of the launch offers for the OnePlus 5T in India, visit either of the two links down below to find out more. Having said that, the OnePlus 5T is the company’s new flagship smartphone, this handset is rather similar to the OnePlus 5 when it comes to specs, but it comes with a larger display, differently-placed fingerprint scanner, and considerably thinner bezels, while its dual camera setup on the back is also different compared to the OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 5T is made out of metal, and it sports facial recognition tech as well.

The OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, while the phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, as already mentioned. These two RAM variants come with 64GB and 128GB of native storage, respectively, and the phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. A 3,300mAh non-removable battery is also included in this package, and thanks to OnePlus’ Dash Charge fast charging technology, you’ll be able to recharge this battery really fast, as that is one of the fastest fast charging methods out there. Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 5T, along with the company’s OxygenOS, though Android Oreo is on its way, it’s expected to arrive in early 2018.
