Flame Red Honor 7X Gets Announced In China, Available Soon

Honor has just announced a new color variant of the Honor 7X in China, the Flame Red model. This handset was originally announced in the country back in October, and it will be announced in a number of other markets on December 5. Having said that, the phone was originally announced in Black, Gold and Aura Blue color variants, which makes this Flame Red color the fourth variant of the Honor 7X. Now, based on renders, this color really makes the device pop, as it's really hard to miss.

As far as specs are concerned, nothing has been changed here, this is the exact same phone as the one that was announced in October, except for a different paint job, of course. The Flame Red Honor 7X will become available in China on December 5, and it is already listed on JingDong Mall (JD.com). We are still not sure whether Honor will announce this color variant during its event in London, the same can be said for the phone's event in India as well, we'll just have to wait for December 5 in order to find out. Now, the Honor 7X, including this Flame Red model, comes in three variants, all of which sport 4GB of RAM, but they come with different internal storage counts. The most affordable model sports 32GB of storage, the one in the middle comes with 64GB of storage, while the most expensive one features 128GB of native storage. These three variants of the Honor 7X are priced at 1,299 Yuan ($197), 1,699 Yuan ($258) and 1,999 Yuan ($303) in China, respectively.

The Honor 7X is made out of metal, it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and it comes with really thin bezels. This is a mid-range smartphone, it sports a 5.93-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, and it is fueled by the Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core processor. The device comes with a 3,340mAh non-removable battery, and Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.1 skin. There are two SIM card slots available on the inside of this phone, and on the back of the Honor 7X, you'll be able to find 16 and 2-megapixel cameras. An 8-megapixel snapper lies on the front side of the Honor 7X, and the phone is only 7.6mm thick.
