Final OnePlus 5T India Flash Sale Comes With A Cashback Offer

The final flash sale of the OnePlus 5T in India started earlier today, with the Chinese phone maker offering its latest and greatest Android flagship alongside a cashback offer amounting to Rs. 1500, or just over $23. The deal is available to all consumers who pay for the device using a credit or debit card issued by the HDFC Bank and also comes along with a free Sandstone Protective Case for the OnePlus 5T, the BBK Electronics-owned firm said. The sale is limited to the OnePlus Experience Zone at the DLF Mall of India in Noida and is only available by the end of the day, with the OnePlus 5T being scheduled to officially release in the country on Tuesday, November 28th.

The newly launched Android flagship will start at Rs. 32,998 ($508) in India, with its more premium variant being priced at Rs. 37,998 ($585). Following its commercial debut in the South Asian country, the OnePlus 5T will hit China on Friday, December 1st. The OnePlus 5 is still officially sold in India but won't be available for much longer, with the original equipment manufacturer recently confirming that its production has already been ceased and it's currently in the process of clearing stock. The OnePlus 5T wasn't introduced as an entirely new device but a revision of its direct predecessor which comes with identical internal specs but a radically different look and a reworked camera setup. Instead of the 5.5-inch FHD panel found on the OnePlus 5, its successor boasts a 6.01-inch FHD+ screen with a taller aspect ratio of 18:9 and minimal bezels, delivering more screen real estate while still having a physical footprint that's essentially identical to that of the previous handset.

The rear camera setup of the OnePlus 5T scrapped the telephoto lens found on the older smartphone in favor of another wide-angle glass module with an aperture of f/1.7, thus offering improved low-light performance. The fingerprint scanner has now been moved to the back, with the device also introducing a facial recognition solution said to be capable of identifying you in 0.4 seconds. Besides those differences, the OnePlus 5T comes with the same specs powering the OnePlus 5, including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal flash memory.
