Deal: Wemo Mini Smart Plug $20, Wemo Light Switch $29.99 – Today Only

Both the Wemo Mini Smart Plug and the Wemo Light Switch are currently seeing some decent discounts on Amazon. Making both of these ideal purchases today for those looking for a way to add to their connected-home ecosystem. It is worth noting however, that both of these products (at their lower prices) are listed as 'Deal of the Day' deals on Amazon. So those looking to capitalize on the lower prices will want to do so today – November 24. As both items are expected to revert to the usual price from midnight tonight.

The Wemo Mini Smart Plug is currently priced at only $20 which is a significant saving compared to its usual $34.99 price. This is of a course, a wall socket. Although it is a smart one so the owner will be able to turn on and off power to any device connected to the socket, remotely. Best of all no hub is needed for this product, as it can all be controlled and managed by the corresponding Wemo app. Likewise, this is a wall socket which is also compatible with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so uses of either assistant will be able to use voice commands to activate and deactivate the socket.

The Wemo Light Switch is currently available to buy for $29.99 (down from $47.66) and this is a light switch which also works with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Once connected to either of these voice assistants through a compatible device, the owners will be able to turn on or off the lights, set to a 'random mode' when away from home to provide the illusion you are home, and more. This is also a light switch which is compatible with Nest and IFTTT, so regardless of your existing setup, it should be fairly easy to integrate this one into it. For those new to the smart home game, like the Wemo Smart Plus, the Light Switch can also be used in a standalone fashion when needed – through the use of the same free to download Wemo app.
