Sony appears to be serious about claiming the title of the most generous consumer electronics manufacturer this Cyber Monday, having just introduced two new deep price cuts on its premium devices, the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact. The former is now $100.09 off and can be purchased for just $599.90, whereas the latter is going for $492.31 instead of its usual $600 price tag.
Both of these prices amount to fantastic deals on what are incredibly unique devices; the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact pack the same internal specs that something like the Samsung Galaxy S8 does, offering premium performance with a rare selling point - a small form factor. Whereas the regular Xperia XZ1 has a 5.2-inch display, the Xperia XZ1 Compact is even smaller and ships with a 4.6-inch screen. High-end smartphones with small display panels are almost extinct in 2017, with Sony's recent offerings thus being extremely unique propositions. The newly introduced discount applies to all four color variants of the Xperia XZ1 - Black, Warm Silver, Moonlit Blue, and Venus Pink. On the other hand, only the Black Xperia XZ1 Compact appears to be $107 off, though the other three versions are also discounted, albeit not as much, being available at $60 off.
Besides packing a lot of hardware power, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot, both devices ship with Sony's first-party cameras that are some of the best in the industry. While high-resolution photos and videos are something you'd come to expect from a contemporary Android flagship, a super slow-motion mode capable of shooting clips at 960 frames per second certainly isn't, and is just one of many things that make the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact the company's best small smartphones to date. Sony didn't clarify how long will its newly introduced sale last but don't expect it to be live for much longer and refer to the banners below to see whether the firm's stock is still holding up.
