Deal: Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smartwatch for $279 - 11/24/17

Both B&H Photo and Amazon have the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier available for $279, which is $70 off of its regular price of $349. Now B&H Photo does still have it in stock, while Amazon is backordered. Right now, Amazon says that it'll be about 1-3 weeks before it ships, but you can still purchase it and it'll ship once it's available, as is usually the case with Amazon.

The Gear S3 Frontier is Samsung's latest smartwatch, this is the more "sporty" version of the two Gear S3 models. It's not running on Android Wear 2.0, instead it is using Samsung's own software, Tizen. Which many feel is a better fit for smartwatches and wearables than Android Wear. With Tizen, you get access to a ton of apps on your wrist, including Uber, Map My Run, Samsung Health and many more. The Gear S3 Frontier does also have an easier to navigate interface when compared to Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches. You can scroll through the interface by rotating the bezel, which is much easier than scrolling on the display since it is so small to begin with. Samsung says that you can get around 2 days of battery life out of this smartwatch, however we found in our review that it is closer to just a bit more than a full day. Of course, that will always depend on your usage, obviously more usage means shorter battery life here. The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier would make a great gift this holiday season, and it was also mentioned in our gift guides for smartwatches earlier this month.

At B&H Photo, you do get free expedited shipping, and if you purchase before 4PM EST today, it will ship from its New York City warehouse today. There's no taxes being collected unless you reside in the state of New York or New Jersey.
