Deal: Philips Wake-up Light with Sunrise Simulation alarm clock for $39 – 11/30/17

Amazon right now has discounted the Philips Wake-Up Light down to its lowest price ever. Its website shows that it is $49.99 right now, but you get an additional $10 off when you add it to your cart. That brings the price down to just $39.99, making this a fantastic deal for anyone looking for a bedside light or alarm clock.

This Wake-up light is part of the Philips Hue ecosystem. It's a great light to pick up, not only because it is smart and can be controlled by your smartphone, but also because it has a sunrise simulation included. This means that it won't just turn on all the way when its time to wake up, but gradually get brighter, so you wake up in a better mood. It does also of course show you the time of the day, as well as give you buttons for adjusting the brightness and your alarm. Which is also really nice to have available. Now, in order to use the "smart" aspects of this light, you will need the Hue Bridge, and those do cost $60 each. If you already have some Philips Hue lights in your home, then you are all set, but if this is your first one, then you'll need to purchase one. However, you are actually better off getting one of the starter kits, for example, the two bulb (white, not color) starter kit with the Bridge is $70, just $10 more.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap next-day shipping if you need it here extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime by hitting the link below. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year. Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
