Deal: Garmin Speak Brings Alexa To The Car & Now Only $99.99 – 11/24/17

Garmin Speak has now seen a price drop on Amazon as part of the Black Friday celebrations. As a result, Garmin Speak is now available to buy for only $99.99 compared to its usual retail price of $149.99. Making right now a good time to try out this latest technology designed for the car.

One of the major selling points of Garmin Speak is that it is Amazon Alexa-enabled. While a number of smart devices are Alexa-enabled, with this one designed for the car it is a way to bring Alexa to your car more naturally. Once set up and running, drivers will be able to use Garmin Speak to take advantage of Alexa and all of its functionality in a hands-free and vehicle-optimized fashion. This includes using Alexa to take care of your in-car music needs or when directions are needed. Likewise, drivers will be able to command the Garmin Speak to draw on Alexa to create to-do lists, check notifications, or get an update on the weather. Again, all hands-free.

At the moment, Amazon is looking to sweeten the deal even more as Garmin Speak purchases also come with two months of Amazon Music for free. This is the Unlimited Family Plan version which provides access for up to six family members, and normally at a cost of $14.99 per month. Amazon already does offer a 30-day free trial so what you are basically getting is an additional $15 discount on top of the already-available free trial. Which will be worth taking advantage of as Alexa will likely work even better with Amazon's own services, such as Amazon Music. Those who are less interested in the Amazon Music service, the Garmin Speak with Alexa does offer support for alternative music services regardless, with support for more services due to be added in due course. Irrespective of music service, this is a great addition to the car which can help you stay connected to all of your favorite smartphone features with the added safety benefit of not having to engage with your smartphone while driving.
