Video: Beer Bottle Hits The NOMU S10 Pro, Phone Survives

The NOMU S10 Pro is the company’s latest rugged smartphone, and NOMU has actually just released a new promo video for this handset. If you take a look at the embedded video down below, you’ll be able to see the ruggedness test that NOMU came up with this time around. The company is trying to prove to you that you can rely on the NOMU S10 Pro in various conditions, as NOMU dropped a full bottle of been on the NOMU S10 Pro from 80cm in order to prove that the phone will work just fine afterwards, and that’s exactly what happened.

As expected, the beer bottle did not make it, as beer spilled everywhere, but the NOMU S10 Pro was just fine, all it needed was some water in order to rinse it off, and that’s it, the phone was completely usable afterwards. It’s worth noting that the beer bottle landed straight on the phone’s display, and it did not do any damage, neither did the glass that shattered as a result of an impact. The NOMU S10 Pro became available earlier this month, this is a rugged phone which comes with IP69 certification for water and dust resistance, and that’s also something that NOMU has been heavily advertising, as this phone has an upper hand over pretty much every flagship out there when it comes to water and dust resistance, as most other water and dust resistant flagship phones come with IP68 certification. The NOMU S10 Pro is also a MIL-STD-810G certified smartphone, and as proved in the aforementioned video, the device can take a hit without any issues.

The NOMU S10 Pro does not shine in terms of specs, but considering its price point, the specs are pretty much expected. The device is fueled by the MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit quad-core processor, while it comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. An 8-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this phone, while you’ll find a 5-megapixel shooter on the phone’s front side. A 5,000mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package, while the device sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, so the battery should provide you plenty of usage time before it dies. Android 7.0 Nougat comes out of the box on the NOMU S10 Pro, and the device can now be purchased for $159.99 from the provided link / banner down below.
