Pick Up the Samsung T5 Portable SSD - 250GB for $119 - 10/17/17

Samsung's latest portable SSD, the T5, is already seeing a discount over at Amazon. The 250GB model is currently available for just $119, which is $10 off of its regular price. That isn't a huge discount, but considering the T5 was only announced about a month ago, it's not surprising to see such a small discount at this point.

The Samsung T5 is a rather small SSD that does use USB-C. In the box, Samsung provides you with a USB-C to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-A cable, so whether your laptop or other device has a USB-A port or a USB-C port, Samsung has you covered. This SSD also has some pretty fast read and write speeds. Samsung touts around 540MB/s which is about what we achieved in our review earlier this month. That is plenty fast for just about everything, and it makes the Samsung T5 a great SSD for backing up your laptop, or using to store video that you're editing in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or another video editing software, and many other things.

This is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap next-day shipping if you need it here extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime by hitting the link below. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year. Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
