Nokia 9's Rear Cover Leaks, Shows Off Dual Camera Cutouts

The Nokia 9 is one of the most anticipating smartphones of the year, and a new Nokia 9-related leak has just popped up. If you take a look at the provided image down below, you will be able to see what seems to be Nokia 9's backplate. This backplate reveals that the device will ship with a dual camera setup on the back (those two cameras will protrude a bit), and that those two cameras will be vertically aligned. In addition to that, this leak also reveals that a rear-facing fingerprint scanner will be a part of the package, and the same can be said for an LED flash, as one of the cutouts suggests that it will be placed right next to the dual camera setup.

Having said that, Nokia's branding is clearly visible on this backplate as well, and chances are that this rear cover is made out of glass. Having said that, it is still unknown if the Nokia 9 will arrive this year, but considering how many leaks we've seen lately, it could arrive in the near future, actually. HMD Global had already announced a Nokia-branded flagship for 2017, the Nokia 8, but the Nokia 9 is expected to be an even more refined smartphone which will offer a great design, and an equally powerful internals as the Nokia 8, if not more powerful. The Nokia 9 is expected to sport a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, while the phone will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC. Now, some previous leaks suggested that a 3.5mm headphone jack will not be a part of this package, and that the Nokia 9 will ship with a 5.5-inch QHD display.

In addition to what we've already mentioned, this handset will probably ship with 6GB or 8GB of RAM on the inside (multiple variants are a possibility), while it will also offer 64GB / 128GB of native storage. ZEISS optics will also be a part of the whole package, as was the case with the Nokia 9, and if some rumors and leaks are to be believed, the Nokia 9 could even sport a curved display, but we'll see what happens.
