LG V30 Plus Launches at Sprint Today, With BOGO Lease Offer

Sprint is launching its LG V30 Plus today, which is going to be available for $912 full retail price, or you can get it on a lease for $38. Sprint is the only "major" carrier launching with LG V30 Plus, US Cellular will also be launching it, but it's not really a major carrier since it is a regional carrier that is only available in about 12 States. The LG V30 Plus is similar to the LG V30, with the only real difference being double the storage. So instead of 64GB of internal storage, you're looking at 128GB plus a micro SD card slot for even more storage. This is great for those that are buying the LG V30 Plus, since it does have that incredible camera.

Speaking of the camera on the LG V30 Plus, it is a dual-camera setup. So it has a 16-megapixel main camera sensor with an aperture of f/1.6 with three-axis OIS. The secondary camera is a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.9. There's no OIS on the second lens, but it is also a wide-angle lens, so you get that over the main camera. Additionally, the LG V30 Plus is powered by Qualcomm's latest silicon, the Snapdragon 835. That is paired with 4GB of RAM and as mentioned already, 128GB of storage. Powering it all is a 3300mAh battery, which is non-removable but can be charged via Quick Charge 3.0, allowing you to get a 50% charge in about 35 minutes. It is launching with Android 7.1 Nougat, but will get Android 8.0 Oreo in the near future.

For the LG V30 Plus, Sprint is doing a buy one, get one free deal for those that lease the device. Now since this is a lease, you don't actually get to keep that second device, as you do have to turn it in at the end of the two years. But if you have two lines that can be upgraded, or need new phones, this is a great offer. Essentially you're getting two great smartphones for $38/month plus the cost of your plan. Speaking of which, Sprint offers up unlimited talk, text and data for $50/month. A second line will be an additional $40/month, with the third, fourth and fifth lines being free. That means you can get five lines for just $90 per month and have unlimited data. That's a great plan to go along with the LG V30.
