Apart from announcing three new Android flagships as part of the Mate 10 series, Huawei also unveiled several new gadgets and smartphone accessories earlier today, debuting the EnVizion 360 Camera, SuperCharge Power Bank, and an Internet-enabled Smart Scale, among other offerings. All of the company’s new products are set to start releasing around the world this fall but no specific availability dates or price tags have yet been provided by the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer.
The EnVizion 360 Camera was already trademarked by Huawei earlier this fall, with the company’s previous application revealing it’s working on an imaging system meant to be portable and versatile. The OEM’s Monday event confirmed that the EnVizion 360 Camera was designed to compete with other compact products of its kind, with the company boasting about the device’s ability to shoot 5K photos and 2K 360-degree videos. Huawei’s new offering is equipped with two 13-megapixel sensors and a male USB Type-C connector, being designed for usage alongside an Android device featuring the same port, as seen in the image above. The newly announced Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Porsche Design Mate 10 all ship with native support for the camera which doesn’t just offer plug-and-play capabilities but also allows you to quickly share your 360-degree content on social media, the company said.
The SuperCharge Power Bank is another new accessory designed for use with the Mate 10-series devices and is fully compatible with their fast charging technology of choice, allowing you to charge 58 percent of your dead battery in no more than half an hour. It has a 10,000mAh capacity and can also be used for charging other consumer electronics, Huawei suggested. The new Smart Scale is a product with a relatively self-explanatory name, being the company’s latest foray into Internet-enabled health-oriented gadgets. By pairing the Smart Scale with your smartphone using a dedicated mobile app, the device will be able to intelligently track and analyze your body mass index, body fat percentage, and numerous other metrics, the tech giant said. Huawei’s fall accessory lineup will also include a SuperCharge car charger and a Smart Leather Cover for its Mate 10 phablets. The newly announced Android flagships are set to start releasing in late October, which is when more availability details about their accessories should be shared by Huawei, though at least some of them may debut simultaneously with the Mate 10 series.
