HOMTOM S9 Plus To Cost $159.99 Starting From Oct. 23

HOMTOM had introduced the ‘tri-bezel’ smartphone, the HOMTOM S8, back in August, and the company’s all-new handset, the HOMTOM S9 Plus, will become available for pre-order starting October 23 at a lower price tag. The company has just shared more info regarding the HOMTOM S9 Plus, a phone which is made out of metal and glass, and which comes with really thin bezels, and a ‘chin’ below its display. The design of this handset was inspired by the Xiaomi Mi MIX, as was the case with its predecessor.

Now, HOMTOM revealed how much will this phone cost, while the company also shared more info regarding its design and its specifications with the public. The HOMTOM S9 Plus’ full retail price is $179.99, but you’ll be able to get it for $159.99 during the pre-order period, while HOMTOM also announced ‘more surprises’, we’ll soon know what the company is talking about. It’s worth noting that the HOMTOM S9 Plus pre-orders kicked off at the end of September, but the phone is still priced at $179.99, well, its price will go down on GearBest starting on October 23, as already mentioned. The HOMTOM S9 Plus comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, while the device also features a dual camera setup on the back, next to which you’ll notice an LED flash. Interestingly enough, the power / lock key, volume up and volume down keys are placed on the left-hand side of this smartphone, while its SIM card tray lies on the right.

The HOMTOM S9 Plus sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) IPS display, while it also packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the MediaTek MT6750 64-bit octa-core SoC, while the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU is also included here, of course. 16 and 5-megapixel snappers are placed on the back of the HOMTOM S9 Plus, while a single 13-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on this phone, and a 4,050mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package. This handset comes with two SIM card slots on the inside (dual standby), in case you need such functionality.
