DOOGEE MIX 2 To Offer Facial Recognition At A Very Low Price

The DOOGEE MIX 2 is set to be the newest smartphone from DOOGEE and also looks likely to be the most technologically advanced. As in spite of having not been launched yet, DOOGEE has been confirming various aspects that are on offer with this phone, the latest of which is facial recognition software. Yes, like the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 from Samsung and the iPhone X from Apple, DOOGEE's latest phone will also sport 'face unlocking' benefits thanks to the feature having been included in the front-facing camera. Of course the difference here is that unlike the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy Note 8, and the iPhone X, the DOOGEE MIX 2 is designed to be a highly affordable smartphone with the company stating that it will become available for less than $200 during the initial launch period.

Of course that is not the only way in which the DOOGEE MIX 2 will compete with the latest devices from Samsung and Apple, as again in spite of becoming available at what will be a quarter of the cost, the DOOGEE MIX 2 will also adopt an 18:9 aspect ratio resulting in an all-screen display experience. As a result those more interested in picking up a smartphone that not only boasts a 2017 screen experience but also newer technologies like facial recognition will just need to turn to the DOOGEE MIX 2 to do so. In fact, DOOGEE has confirmed that the DOOGEE MIX 2 will also come equipped with two cameras on the front of the device, with the second camera boasting a 130-degree wide-angle lens offering owners the option to capture more with the front-facing cameras - think groupfie instead of selfie.

As for the rest of the specs, the DOOGEE MIX 2 will feature a 5.9-inch display although due to the use of the 18:9 aspect ratio the phone size will be more akin to a 5.5-inch device. Inside, the DOOGEE MIX 2 will come loaded with 6GB RAM and be powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 processor. As mentioned, this is a phone which features two cameras on the front consisting of dual 8-megapixel sensors, while the rear camera experience will also be the sum of a dual camera setup, consisting of a 16-megapixel primary camera along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera. In addition, the DOOGEE MIX 2 will also come loaded with a 4,060 mAh capacity battery, USB Type-C connectivity, and Android 7.1 (Nougat).
