DIRECTV NOW, AT&T's streaming TV service, has just launched a new promotion to get people on-board with its service. Those of you that have been wanting to try out DIRECTV NOW, but also looking to get a Roku Streaming Stick will want to check this out. DIRECTV NOW is giving out free Roku Streaming Sticks for those that pre-pay for 2 months of the service. The Roku Streaming Stick does cost $49.99, and two months of DIRECTV NOW will cost you $70, so you won't be saving money, but if you were to buy the Roku Streaming Stick and pay for two months of DIRECTV NOW, it'll cost you $120. So this is a good way to try out DIRECTV NOW for longer than the 7-day trial and get some free hardware.
It's important to note here that those that are current customers are not eligible. Those that opt for the 7-day trial are also not eligible. You'll need to sign up and pay for two months out of the gate to be eligible for the Roku Streaming Stick deal. There's nothing additional that you need to do or fill out, once you sign up. DIRECTV NOW will send out your Roku Streaming Stick within a few weeks – most likely in your second month. This is the case with most offers like this, from PlayStation VUE, Sling TV and others. This deal is good today through November 30th, 2017.
