Bose SoundSport Free Launches Early on Amazon

The Bose SoundSport Free were announced earlier this month, along with the QC35 II's which have Google Assistant built in. Now, the Bose SoundSport Free are available for purchase from Amazon, a bit ahead of schedule. While Bose' press release said "early October", these were dated on Amazon to launch tomorrow. So it's a day early, which is still nice for those looking to pick up the SoundSport Free.

The SoundSport Free are Bose' first entry into the truly wireless earbuds game, and it'll be facing some stiff competition. While the Bragi Dash are everyone's top pick right now for truly wireless earbuds, there are some other great options available from Jaybird, Jabra and other top audio brands. The Bose SoundSport Free offer up 5 hours of play time, and with the included case, you can get another 10 hours before needing to plug them into a charger. The case, like with most truly wireless headphones, do charge the SoundSport Free while inside. This way, the SoundSport Free are always at 100% when you need them. Bose says that the SoundSport Free are also sweat and weather resistant, which is good, since most people will be using these in the gym, and they'll need to withstand plenty of sweating while in the gym. These are great headphones for taking on a run with you, especially with the hear+ Sport tips that are included. So you can easily swap out the tips and find the ones that fit your ears the best and keep them from falling out.

As it stands right now, only the black SoundSport Free are shipping. As Bose noted in its initial press release, the midnight blue/citron colored pair will be available in late November - Amazon is quoting a date of November 22nd right now. The Bose SoundSport Free is looking like it'll be a popular pair of truly wireless earbuds going into the holiday season, so if you are looking to pick up a pair for the holiday season, you may want to do so now before they are sold out. With truly wireless earbuds being so popular these days, they will likely go out of stock quite quickly.
