B&H Photo Now Offers the Nokia 6 for $229

The Nokia 6 has now launched at another retailer in the US, instead of only being available at Amazon, you can also pick it up at B&H Photo (without the ads). Amazon sells the Nokia 6 as a Prime Exclusive smartphone, so you get lockscreen ads for a $50 discount (of course you can pay full price and skip the ads altogether). Now B&H Photo sells the Nokia 6 as a regular smartphone, nothing different here, no pre-installed apps or anything of that sort.

Nokia 6 is a more mid-range smartphone than the Nokia 8 and rumored Nokia 9, and at $229 it's actually a pretty decent device from HMD Global. We reviewed the Nokia 6 back in July, and found that it is one of the better "mid-range" smartphones on the market, stating that it's "Premium for a Bargain". It sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 is running the show here with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a micro SD card slot available for expanding storage, should you need a bit more room. It sports one camera on the backside, which is a 16-megapixel sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 8-megapixel shooter, with the same f/2.0 aperture. All of this is powered by a non-removable 3000mAh battery and that is charged using a micro USB port. So those that don't want to make the jump over to USB-C just yet will be happy with the Nokia 6.

For $229, the Nokia 6 is a pretty incredible device. Sporting some great specs, Android Nougat, as well as a metal build, it's hard to go wrong here. Especially since Nokia is sticking with a rather stock version of Android, with very little changes here. B&H Photo is selling the Nokia 6 in all four colors - Copper, Tempered Blue, Matte Black and Silver. The retailer is also offering expedited shipping on the Nokia 6 and is only collecting taxes in the states of New Jersey and New York, which make this a really good deal, and it's the regular price. It'll likely see a discount in the coming weeks with Black Friday about a month away.
