Honor 9 To Ship In Three Variants, Pricing Info Pops Up

Based on the latest info, the Honor 9 will be announced in China on June 12, and the device’s pricing info has just surfaced. It’s worth noting that reports claim that the phone will receive its global announcement on June 21, so China will get first dibs it seems. In any case, a new rumor claims that the Honor 9’s pricing will start at 2,299 Yuan ($338) in China, but there will be more than one variant available, so read on.

According to the provided info, the device will launch in three different variants, the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage will cost 2,299 Yuan ($338), while the 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage will set you back 2,599 Yuan ($382) if the provided info is anything to go by. Now, the most expensive model of the Honor 9 will ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will, reportedly, cost 2,999 Yuan ($441). The Honor 9 actually got certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) quite recently, and thanks to that listing we basically know what to expect in the spec department, and the design of the Honor 9 had also been (unofficially) revealed. The Honor 9 will be made out of metal and glass, just like its predecessor, but it will sport a front-facing fingerprint scanner, unlike its predecessor. Two cameras will be included on the back of the device, and quite a few color variants will become available, so you’ll have plenty of choices at your disposal. The back side of the device will be curved, and the phone will sport a similarly-sized display to its predecessor.

According to TENAA, the Honor 9 will sport a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The device will be fueled by the Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 3,100mAh battery will be included on the inside. 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel cameras will be included on the back of this phone, and a single 8-megapixel snapper will be available on the phone’s front side. Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the Honor 9, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0 skin. The device will measure 147.3 x 70.9 x 7.45mm, while it will weigh 155 grams.
