'Bezel-Less' Elephone S8 To Sport A 6" Display, Big Battery

Elephone is expected to introduce the Elephone S8 in the near future, and a couple of more details regarding this bezel-less smartphone just leaked. According to the provided info, the Elephone S8 will sport a 6-inch 2048 x 1080 display, and a 4,000mAh battery. Now, this phone is obviously inspired by the Xiaomi Mi MIX, as it will not sport any bezel above the display, or on its sides, and it will ship with a home key which will be placed below the phone’s display. For comparison’s sake, the Xiaomi Mi MIX comes with a 6.4-inch 2040 x 1080 display, and a 4,400mAh battery.

That is pretty much all the new info that was shared about this handset, but that’s not all that we know about it, not even close. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see what will the Elephone S8 look like, this is probably its final design, even though nothing has been confirmed just yet. The device will ship with a single camera on its back, and what seems to be a 2.5D curved glass on top of its display. A dual-LED, dual-tone flash will be located on the phone’s back side, and you’ll also notice Elephone’s branding back there. Now, as far as specs are concerned, we really don’t have all that much info about the Elephone S8, but we can always make an educated guess about what to expect. The Elephone S8 will probably ship with the Helio X30 on the inside, and you can also expect to see either 4GB or 6GB of RAM on the inside of this phone.

Elephone is actually expected to release several different variants of the Elephone S8, a more affordable variant will almost certainly be available, and it will ship with less RAM and an inferior SoC, at least if the Elephone S8’s predecessor is anything to go by. The Elephone S7 resembled the Galaxy S7 Edge quite a bit, and the Elephone took inspiration from the Xiaomi Mi MIX this time around. In any case, the Elephone S8 will be a nice-looking smartphone, and even though we’re still not sure when will it land, more info is expected to pop up soon.
