Anker Debuts its Neckband Headphones, Soundbuds Lite

Anker, today, launched its newest pair of wireless earbuds, which are the Soundbuds Lite. These are neckband earbuds, so they are somewhat similar to those from LG, Sony and even Samsung. These hang around your neck, with earbuds that will go into your ear. This particular model of earbuds have become pretty popular lately because it allows for companies like Anker to add in a larger battery without making the earbuds feel much heavier, as they can put the actual battery in the neckband itself. Speaking of battery life, Anker is touting that these will last around 10 hours of continuous playback. You can also get around 12 hours of talk time. Anker does also tout that you can get about an hour of playback in just 10 minutes of charging. But a full charge will take around 60-90 minutes.

Now, of course the most important feature here with the Anker Soundbuds Lite, is definitely the audio quality. Anker has put 8mm drivers in each earbud, which puts out some rich audio that sounds great. They also use Bluetooth 4.1 for connecting to your phone, which uses less battery life than most of the other versions of Bluetooth - except for version 5. These will sound a lot like the regular Soundbuds, and have some pretty heavy bass, which is a good thing for those that listen to bass-heavy music.

These earbuds do also connect to each other using magnets, like the Soundbuds Slim. This makes it easy to keep them together without worrying about the Soundbuds Lite getting all tangled up. These are also water-resistant. It uses a hydrophobic nano coating, and also is rated at IPX5, so that you'll be able to use the Soundbuds Lite while you're at the gym working out, and not worry about getting them damaged. In the box, Anker offers up three different sized ear tips as well as wings, to help keep these in your ears. These do charge up via a micro USB cable, so that is also included. Anker also has a travel pouch inside, so you'll be able to keep these together and have them travel in style. Finally, Anker does offer up a 18-month warranty with the Soundbuds Lite.
