Verizon Wear24 Smartwatch Is Now Available For $349.99

Verizon had announced the Wear24 smartwatch back in February, and that smartwatch is now finally available for purchase from the US-based carrier. The Verizon Wear24 is now available for US consumers, and it costs $349.99, just in case you’re interested. Now, if you’re looking to sign a contract in order to get this watch, you can do that as well, in that case, the watch will cost you $299.99 (on a two-year contract).

For those of you who do not know, this watch is running Android Wear 2.0, which makes it one of the few smartwatches on the market to run the latest version of Google’s wearable operating system. In addition to running Android Wear 2.0 out of the box, this smartwatch also comes with 4G LTE support, the watch comes with a pre-installed SIM card and you can use this instead of your phone, to an extent, of course. Now, we do have some bad news, however, Android Pay is not available on the Verizon Wear24 smartwatch, mainly because this watch lacks NFC (Near Field Communications) functionality. The Verizon Wear24 comes in several color variants, you can get it in Stainless Steel, Gunmetal and Rose Gold color variants directly from Verizon as we speak. This is not a particularly thin smartwatch, and it looks quite a bit like a regular watch, actually.

Now, as far as its specs are concerned, this smartwatch sports a 1.39-inch 400x400 AMOLED display, along with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC is fueling this smartwatch, and a 450mAh battery is also included in this package, and it is not removable. Verizon says that the Wear24’s battery can last up to 60 hours on standby, and 18 hours of usage, which should be more than enough to get you through a day or two. This watch comes with a number of pre-installed applications, and you can read more about those by following the source link down below, where you can also purchase this smartwatch. There you have it, the Verizon Watch24 is here, and it brings yet another option for those of you who are looking to get a smartwatch, though do keep in mind that this watch comes with Verizon’s SIM card pre-installed.
