Upcoming Huawei Nova 2 Plus Pops Up In Three New Images

The Huawei Nova 2 surfaced yesterday, and its sibling, the Huawei Nova 2 Plus just appeared as well. All of the aforementioned images are provided by TENAA, China’s equivalent to the FCC. Unfortunately, specs for these two smartphones did not appear on TENAA just yet, but they’re expected to show up in the near future. Having said that, the design of the Huawei Nova 2 Plus seems to be identical to that of the Huawei Nova 2, which is interesting considering that the Huawei Nova and Huawei Nova Plus looked different one compared to the other.

In any case, the phone that you can see in the provided images is made out of metal, and it comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The dual camera setup is also placed on the back of this smartphone, and so is Huawei’s branding. Next to the phone’s dual camera setup you will notice an LED flash, and above everything you’ll notice some antenna lines which are nicely incorporated into the phone’s body. Huawei’s branding is present on the front side of the phone as well, and as you can see, this is a silver-colored Huawei Nova 2 Plus. The first-gen Huawei Nova devices were announced back in September last year, which means that the second-gen ones might not launch as soon as we think. All in all, we do have plenty of info when it comes to these two phones, not only did their designs surfaced, but we also have some specs to share with you, thanks to a recent leak.

The Huawei Nova 2 is expected to sport a slightly larger display compared to its predecessor, as it will probably come with a 5.2-inch display, while its ‘Plus’ sibling is expected to sport a 5.5-inch panel. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 658 64-bit octa-core SoC will probably fuel these two smartphones, though there is a chance Huawei might opt for the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor instead, we’ll see. 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel snappers are expected to be included on the back of these two phones, and a 20-megapixel camera might be included on the front side of the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus devices. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on both phones, and on top of it, you’ll get Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) skin.
