UMIDIGI is planning to start selling two Xiaomi Mi MIX look-alikes in the near future, two variants of the UMIDIGI Crystal smartphone. If you take a look at the provided image, you'll get to see both of those smartphones, and the company is now offering you a chance to subscribe to purchase one of its UMIDIGI Crystal phones. If you opt to subscribe in the next 10 days or so, you'll be able to get a rather nice discount, you'll be able to get one of these two phones for $99 it seems. Having said that, over 30,000 people subscribed at the time of writing this article.
It's important to keep in mind that UMIDIGI is preparing only 20,000 UMIDIGI Crystal units, so not every person who subscribed will be able to get their hands on the phone. As already mentioned, two different UMIDIGI Crystal variants will become available for purchase soon, the 'Lumia Edition' and an all-metal edition of the device. The Lumia Edition UMIDIGI Crystal comes with a glass back, and a dual camera setup on its back, while its frame is made out of metal. The all-metal UMIDIGI Crystal, on the other hand, sports 'only' one camera on the back, and its front-facing shooter is placed in the bottom middle part of the phone's front side. Now, aside from some differences in their build, these two smartphones actually look quite similar from the front, and they pack identical specs on the inside, at least it seems like it.
The UMIDIGI Crystal will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. MediaTek's Helio P25 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the UMIDIGI Crystal devices, and as you can see, the device will barely have any bezel on the sides and above the display. You will notice some black bars on the phone, but as already mentioned, they're quite thin. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the UMIDIGI Crystal, and it's important to remember that the two UMIDIGI Crystal variants will go on sale starting on June 15. In addition to all that, UMIDIGI is planning to release the UMIDIGI Crystal Plus at some point as well, and that phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835, and it will pack in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We do not have any additional info when it comes to that phone, however, so stay tuned.
