Ulefone Power 2 Put Through Fingerprint Sensor Reliability Test

The Ulefone Power 2 is one of the newest smartphones to come from the house of Ulefone and its most talked about selling point is that it comes with a big battery. As the battery capacity on offer is 6,050 mAh, effectively twice what you will find on most other smartphones. However, it is not the only selling point on offer. As while this is an affordable smartphone, it does come packed with a number of extra-added features, like for instance a fingerprint sensor for added security.

While fingerprint sensors can be a little hit and miss, Ulefone is looking to highlight how reliable the fingerprint sensor on the Ulefone Power 2 is. As a result the company has now released a new video which shows the Ulefone Power 2's fingerprint sensor being put through a '100 unlocks in a row' test. The device is shown being unlocked using the fingerprint sensor exactly 100 times and seems to do so reliably and without issue. In addition, the video also looks to highlight that the fingerprint sensor is more than just an unlock feature, as it can be set to initiate a number of commands, including answering calls, acting as a back key, taking pictures, and more.

The fingerprint sensor aside, the Ulefone Power 2 is a smartphone that comes packing a fairly good spec list for the price. On offer with this smartphone is a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the Ulefone Power 2 comes loaded with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and is powered by a MediaTek MTK6750T SoC (clocking at 1.5 GHz). Cameras comes in the form of a 16-megapixel rear camera, along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. While additional features include expandable storage, the already-mentioned 6,050 mAh battery, and Android 7.0 (Nougat) as the pre-installed operating system version. This is already an affordable smartphone as it can routinely be picked up for only $200. However, starting from tomorrow (May 5) and running through until May 10, the Ulefone Power 2 will be available at a discounted price of $167.39. This price also includes a free gift bag consisting of $40 worth of free accessories. More details on the Ulefone Power 2 and the deal below, as well as the new 100 unlock test video from Ulefone.
