A press render depicting what's said to be the upcoming T-Mobile REVVL T1 has leaked online on Tuesday, with sources claiming that the device in question is just one of three upcoming phones that the third largest wireless carrier in the United States is planning to launch in the near future. The remaining two devices will allegedly be released as the REVVL T2 and the REVVL T3 PRO, and while the REVVL T1 is said to be manufactured by Chinese tech giant TCL — the very same one that also produces Alcatel and BlackBerry devices — it's currently unclear whether the rest of T-Mobile's upcoming exclusive lineup will also be handled by this original design manufacturer (ODM).
The supposed render of the REVVL T1 that can be seen above doesn't reveal many details about the device, though it does suggest that the upcoming smartphone will feature a relatively neutral design, with medium-sized bezels and a display panel whose diagonal doesn't seem longer than 5.5 inches, at least relative to the size of the phone's bezels. The screen also seems to feature the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, while the front panel of the device doesn't sport a physical button whose place is taken by what looks like a front-facing speaker or a simple case grill housing a microphone. Regardless, the supposed REVVL T1 features conventional on-screen buttons whose design suggests that the handset is running some variant of Android Nougat, though it's currently unclear to what degree will the software that's set to ship with the device be modified.
According to initial reports, the REVVL T1, REVVL T2, and the REVVL T3 PRO will all be aimed at consumers who are looking for devices that provide good value for money, indicating that the handsets may compete in the entry-level, mid-range, and even upper mid-range market segment once they eventually launch. The REVVL T1 that leaked earlier today will likely be the most affordable member of the upcoming product family and while many of its hardware specifications remain a mystery, sources claim that the phone will boast a 5.5-inch IPS display panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a fingerprint scanner, presumably mounted on the rear side of the smartphone. The REVVL T1 is also said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with a conventional LED flash and a 5-megapixel front sensor, in addition to being powered by a 3,000mAh battery that presumably won't be removable.
