HTC has finally introduced their HTC U11 flagship, and you can read more about the device in our original announcement. Having said that, the HTC U11 is the company’s most powerful smartphone to date, and it comes with a compelling set of specs, of course. Aside from top of the line specifications, in addition to a set of other interesting features the phone has to offer. In any case, we’re here to take a closer look at the HTC U11’s spec sheet, so if you’re interested, read on.
Now, the HTC U11 is a smaller handset than the HTC U Ultra phablet which HTC introduced earlier this year, it comes with a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440, 534 ppi) display with a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 on top, and the phone packs in 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage (UFS 2.1 flash storage). A 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable, while you will be able to take advantage of Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging in order to get this battery back up to 100% as quickly as possible. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Adreno 540 GPU, which is in charge of graphics processing. A 12-megapixel shooter (f/1.7 aperture, HDR Boost, BSI sensor, UltraPixel 3, 1.4um pixel size) can be found on the back of the HTC U11, and next to it you’ll notice the dual-LED, dual-tone flash. A 16-megapixel snapper (f/2.0 aperture, 120-degree wide-angle lens) is placed on the front side of this smartphone. 4G LTE is included here as well, and it supports a range of bands, which will depend on the region, of course. As far as Wi-FI is concerned, you're getting Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5GHz) here.
Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on the HTC U11, and on top of it you’re getting HTC’s Sense UI. Bluetooth 4.2 LE is also a part of this package, and so is IP67 certification for water and dust resistence. The HTC U11 also comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, which is quite fast, according to HTC. There are two SIM card slots included in the HTC U11, and a Type-C USB 3.1 is placed on the bottom of HTC's new flagship. The HTC U11 measures 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 169 grams, while it comes in Amazing Silver, Brilliant Black, Ice White, Sapphire Blue and Solar Red color variants.
