Smartron srt.phone Unveiled With 4GB Of RAM, Android Nougat

Smartron is an India-based smartphone manufacturing company which just released a new smartphone, the Smartron srt.phone. The company hosted an event in India in order to release this phone, and this device which comes with a compelling spec sheet, but belongs in the mid-range category of smartphones. The phone comes with a removable back cover, and with it, you’re also getting unlimited tCloud storage. That being said, let’s take a look at the Smartron srt.phone’s specs, shall we.

The Smartron srt.phone sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. This phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, which comes with the Adreno 510 GPU for graphics. The device packs in 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB / 64GB of native storage which doesn’t seem to be expandable. A 13-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture, PDAF) is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side and comes with a wide-angle lens. A fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the Smartron srt.phone, and the device offers two SIM card slots (2 x micro SIM). Android 7.1.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on this device, and the company said that the phone will get updated to Android O in the future.
