Scosche Debuts the MagicMount Dash/Vent Car Mount

Scosche has just unveiled their latest addition to the MagicMount lineup. It's the Dash/Vent Car Mount, and it's available today for $24.99 at Scosche's own website, and it will be rolling out to select retailers in the coming days. The MagicMount Dash/Vent car mount allows users to decide between mounting their phone on the vent in their car, or on the dashboard. So they don't have to choose between which position they want to put their smartphone in. It works like the other car mounts that the company has released already, instead of using a magnet on your smartphone and one on the mount, there's just one on the vent that holds your phone in place. The company calls this their MagicMount technology. It uses a magnetic head to keep the phone in place, and then rubber sides to keep it from getting damaged.

One of the other uses that Scosche is touting with the MagicMount Dash/Vent car mount is the ability to use it as a kickstand. So you can pop it off of the vent and take it with you on the plane and use it as a kickstand on the tray at your seat to watch a movie or TV show. It's actually a pretty cool idea, and it's not exclusive to this MagicMount Dash/Vent car mount either. This car mount is easy to use, and it's pretty versatile, allowing you to use it in multiple areas in your car. While some might like having the mount on the air vent, others may rather have it on the dashboard, so they can see it better, especially if they are using it for navigation and such. Now this one does not offer up wireless charging, but it doesn't stand in the way of your charging port, so you are able to have it charging in the car while you are using it.

The Scosche MagicMount Dash/Vent car mount is available now on its website. It's going to cost you $24.99, which is a bit more than some of the other mounts out there, but it does offer a higher quality build than those other cheaper ones. Not to mention it is a bit more versatile.
