Pick up the Samsung Galaxy S5 for $99 - 5/5/17

eBay is currently selling the Galaxy S5 for just $99. This is an unlocked Verizon model, so it can be used on GSM networks like T-Mobile and AT&T as well. This would make a great smartphone for a backup, or to replace a broken one, cheaply. At the time of writing, this smartphone is only available in black, and it's selling quickly.

The Galaxy S5 is a few years old now, but it is still a pretty capable smartphone. It was the last smartphone from Samsung that had a removable battery, so it definitely is worth taking a look at. It sports a 5.1-inch 1080p display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and it has 2GB of RAM and powered by a 2800mAh battery. In addition to the removable battery, there is also a micro SD card slot, making it easy for users to add additional storage to the Galaxy S5, for things like music, apps, videos and even pictures.

This is a refurbished smartphone, and the seller says that it will have some light scuffs on the device, but it's not in too bad of shape. The Galaxy S5 is just $99, and would make a great smartphone for a kid or even a grandparent, someone who doesn't need the latest and greatest from Samsung, that costs over $800.
