Oppo Promotional Video Ad Shows Off The Upcoming R11

An Oppo promotional video ad has shown off the upcoming R11 smartphone showcasing that it has dual rear cameras and comes in multiple colors. In regards to the cameras, the dual rear sensors have seemingly already been confirmed by Oppo in a previous teaser that surfaced earlier this week on May 17th, but the video adds a little bit more to that confirmation by showing the phone multiple times throughout the ad spot, and showcasing at the very end that the ad is indeed for the R11.

The video shows that the Oppo R11 comes in three different colors, one of which is the gold color with a white front that was shown partially in previously leaked teaser images, as well as a soft pink with the same white front, and black color with a black front face. They don't actually discuss or mention any of the specifications for the phone save for the camera, which is said to be a 20-megapixel sensor plus a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, so all it really counts for at this point is seeing what the phone looks like in its final production-ready design.

Even without most of the hardware being mentioned in the video though, many of the specs have already been rumored or leaked through benchmark results. According to a recent leak that shows benchmark results for the phone on AnTuTu that also surfaced on May 17th, the Oppo R11 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor on the inside as well as an Adreno 512 GPU for the graphics processing, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage space. It's also said to come running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and the dual rear camera setup is supposed to be comprised of two 20-megapixel sensors, though it isn't listed which type of sensor they're using or what sorts of features they'll have. One thing to note is that this leaked information from the AnTuTu results contradicts the second sensor as a 20-megapixel sensor according to the video, so it's unclear which sensor quality Oppo has gone with at this point. There's no confirmed release date for the R11 just yet and so far there is no mention of a confirmed cost.
