OnePlus has announced via its official Twitter page that the company’s Power Bank has been sold out. In addition to this announcement, OnePlus said the following: “Stay tuned for some exciting new products”. Now, this might suggest that a new OnePlus-branded Power Bank is on its way. Now, some of you probably think that we’re reading too much into it, which is possible, considering that’s something that companies usually say when they sold out a product, but we doubt that the company would sit idle without a power bank in their store for long, which probably means that a new power bank is coming.

Now, on top of everything we’ve mentioned, OnePlus is actually due to release a new power bank, and consumers are hoping that the company will find a way to incorporate its Dash Charge fast charging into a new power bank. The company’s new power bank is actually expected to offer fast charging on both ends, both input and output, and chances are that we’re looking at a 10,000mAh power bank here, though we cannot be sure until OnePlus releases more detail, of course. Now, the company had released its first power bank way back in 2015, and it was available in two color variants, Sandstone Black and Silk White. That power bank had a capacity of 10,000mAh, and sported two USB port, and also a microUSB port for charging. It also sported 4 LED indicators, so that you know how much juice it has, approximately.

That being said, when will a new OnePlus-branded power bank land? Well, the OnePlus 5 is coming this summer, the company already confirmed that, and it is possible that OnePlus might introduce its new power bank alongside the company’s all-new flagship smartphone, but who knows, OnePlus might want to do it separately, we’ll just have to wait and see. Now, as far as the OnePlus 5 is concerned, OnePlus also confirmed its name yesterday, and the company also announced that it has been working closely with DxO in order to improve the camera experience on the upcoming OnePlus 5 handset.
