Nokia 3310 (2017) Gets Announced In India, It Costs $56

The all new Nokia 3310 (2017) was announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and the company has just announced that the phone is now available in India. This device started shipping out to people who purchased it (in some other regions) a while back, and Indian consumers are now in a position to get a device as well, well, they will be, on May 18 when the phone will become available across mobile stores in the country.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) comes to India in Warm Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Gray color variants to India. The first two color variants come with a gloss finish, while the latter two sport a matte finish. The phone is priced at Rs. 3310 ($52) in the country, which is a nice touch by the company, and as already mentioned, you’ll be able to get it starting on May 18. The Nokia 3310 (2017) is not a smartphone, this is a feature phone, but quite a nice feature phone which comes with 2.5G connectivity, and is, needlessly to say, an homage to the legendary Nokia 3310. The phone sports a 2.4-inch QVGA (320 x 240) display and 16GB of internal storage which you can expand via a microSD card up to 32GB. A 1,200mAh battery is included on the inside of this phone, and it can last up to 22.1 hours of talk time, and up to 25.3 days of standby. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included in this phone, and so is Bluetooth 3.0. A 2-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this phone, and the device is running the Nokia Series 30+ OS. The phone measures 115.6 x 51 x 12.8mm, while it weighs 79.6 grams.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) certainly won’t be your primary device, presuming you’re not using a feature phone as your main device, of course, but this feature phone can serve as your secondary phone, just as a backup or something of the sort. All in all, the Nokia 3310 (2017) certainly brings back some nice memories for some of you, especially those of you who owned the original. You will be able to get this phone in India starting in two days, so get ready if you’re interested.
