Meizu Pro 7 Concept Images Leak

The concept images of the Meizu Pro 7 has been leaked, showing a design that is inspired by the designs of the flagship offerings from Samsung and Apple. Based on the leaked images, the front of the device shows a display with relatively tall aspect ratio similar to those seen from the latest devices from LG and Samsung. Similar to Samsung's setup, Meizu's home button now seems to be an on-screen navigation button. It is interesting how the shift to an on-screen button affect the other functions of the home button since in previous Meizu devices, the home button supports gestures for navigating through the device's user interface and also unlocks the device through an incorporated fingerprint scanner. The concept images also show a display which lacks bezels at the sides, which is also very similar to the Infinity Display found in Samsung's flagship devices.

At the back, the concept images show a design that is clearly inspired by the device offerings from Apple. The back of the device will likely have a dual-camera setup positioned at the upper left-hand portion of the device. Beside the rear cameras is the flash, though it is not clear from the concept image whether it is a single flash or a dual flash. Aside from the leaked images, another recent leak provides the same details about the rear panel of the device.

Previous leaks have already detailed the internal specs of the device. It is expected that the Meizu Pro 7 will likely ship with 64GB of internal flash storage and 6GB of RAM, though other leaks claim that the device may ship with 8GB of RAM. The rear cameras of the device are expected to be equipped with Sony IMX386 and Sony IMX286 sensors. While previous rumors claim that the device will be powered by a Mediatek Helio X30 SoC, the latest leak states that the Meizu Pro 7 may be powered by another more powerful chipset. It is also rumored that the device will use a FullHD AMOLED display. There is no clear word yet on the display size of the Meizu Pro 7, with rumors claiming that the handset will either sport a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch screen. Despite the numerous leaks, there is still no clear word on the actual release date of the device. However, fans should expect a release date quite soon.
