Lenovo Smart Band HW01 Is Now Official In India, Costs $31

Lenovo has just introduced the company's first smart band, a smart band which is expected to compete with the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, and it's called the Lenovo Smart Band HW01. First and foremost, it is worth mentioning that this smart band got introduced in India. This smart band actually resembles the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 to some extent, though there's only so many ways you can create a smart band, so it's not exactly surprising that the two devices are a bit similar, even though Lenovo's smart band ships with a different clasp, and its display unit is also designed differently.

This smart band comes with both a heart rate sensor and a pedometer, and it offers real lime heart rate monitoring in the so-called 'Sports Mode', in which the device automatically detects your heart rate every 15 minutes, while it also vibrates when your heart reaches the designated limit. Now, the Lenovo Smart Band HW01 is also a fitness tracking device, as is the Xiaomi Mi Band 2. This fitness tracker has an anti-sleep mode which will wake you up in case you fall asleep outside of your designated sleep timing. The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 comes with an IP65 rating for water resistance, and its silicone strap is skin-friendly, while it comes with a steel buckle. This fitness tracker is compatible with both Android and iOS, and it lets you share your data via social networks, while it also integrates with Google Fit. You can also set this fitness tracker to notify you when you receive a call, message, e-mail, etc, though it has to be connected to your smartphone, of course.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 features a 0.91-inch (128 x 32) OLED display, and it comes with a scratch-resistant glass and UV coating. This fitness tracker weighs 22 grams, and comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE, while it packs in an 85mAh Li-Po battery on the inside, which will provide you 5 days of battery life, according to Lenovo. The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 comes in Black color only, and costs Rs. 1,999 ($31) in India. If you'd like to purchase this product, you can do so exclusively via Flipkart (source link down below).
