Leak: LEAGOO M5 Edge Sports A Curved Display, Metal Body

LEAGOO is one of many China-based companies which tend to introduce rather interesting smartphones from time to time, and this company is working on such a phone it seems. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will see the upcoming LEAGOO M5 Edge smartphone, or at least that’s what our source at the company said it’s called. This device will sport a 5-inch display, and a screen-to-body of 80 percent. Our source also mentioned that the device will land in June, but we still don’t know when exactly.

As you can see, this handset comes with a curved display, the sides of this display are curved, and we’ve seen that on a number of devices thus far, from some Samsung-branded devices, to the Elephone S7. The LEAGOO M5 Edge will be made out of metal, and it will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. A Type-C USB port will be placed on the bottom of the device, and the phone’s speaker will lie on the back. All the physical keys will be located on the right-hand side of the LEAGOO M5 Edge, which probably means that its SIM card tray will be placed on the left, considering that the back of this phone is not removable. A single camera will come embedded on the back of this smartphone, and right below it, you’ll notice the phone’s LED flash. The back side of the LEAGOO M5 Edge will also be curved on the sides, and the company’s logo is also visible on the back. The device’s antenna lines are included in the upper and lower portion of the device’s back side, and they’re nicely incorporated in the design of the LEAGOO M5 Edge.

That is pretty much all the info that we have about this smartphone thus far, the provided images are quite clear, and you should get a great idea as to what will this phone will look like. Other than the fact it will sport a 5-inch display, we do not have any spec info to share with you, at least not yet, we’re expecting more info to surface soon. If we have to guess, though, we’d say that the LEAGOO M5 Edge will ship with at least 3GB of RAM, and it will be fueled by one of MediaTek’s processors, and Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device.
