All Google Pixel XL buyers will receive a free official case for the device while stocks last, as revealed by the listing of the device on the Google Store. It's unusual to come across deals for the Pixel XL so if you've been thinking of purchasing the device, this may be a good time. The current deal applies to purchases made on the Google Store in the United States and the United Kingdom.
If you want to take advantage of the free case deal, simply head to the Google Store source below and you'll see a message saying "Buy Pixel XL, get a Pixel XL Case by Google on us." Select the Pixel XL color and storage option of your choice and simply add either the clear Pixel XL case or silicone case in a choice of grey, blue, green, peach, and coral color options. Those cases are priced at $30/£25 or $35/£29 respectively and this amount will then be discounted so you'll receive the case completely free of charge. It's worth noting that the deal only applies to the Google clear case or silicone case and not to the LifeProof FRE, Otterbox Defender, or any of the Live Cases available for purchase from the Google Store. The deal began yesterday and Google's terms and conditions state that the offer will end on June 18 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time, or sooner if the supplies don't last.
The Google Pixel XL is the larger sibling of the Google Pixel, both of which were announced last year. The Pixel XL was released running Android 7.1 Nougat and has a premium-looking metal and glass build. Its specs include a 5.5-inch display panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip (SoC), and 4GB of RAM, as well as between 32GB and 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. There's a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash on the back of the device, while its front hosts an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, and all of that hardware is powered by a 3,450mAh battery. The Mountain View-based tech giant is expected to announce the successors to its original Pixel lineup later this year.
