It was leaked yesterday, that T-Mobile may be starting a BOGO offer on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, and that has started today. T-Mobile is offering up a buy one, get one free deal on both devices. Obviously if you do buy both, the "free" one will be the Galaxy S8 since it's the cheaper one. Now it's worth noting that you will have to foot the bill upfront for both devices, but T-Mobile will be sending you a prepaid card for the "free" Galaxy S8 in a few weeks. Similar to the prepaid card that was given out for those that switched to T-Mobile from another carrier.
The Galaxy S8 runs $750 outright or $30 down and $30/month, while the Galaxy S8 Plus runs $850 outright or $130 down and $30/month. Which makes them some pretty pricey smartphones, but a buy one, get one free promo is definitely nice. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have mostly the same specs, aside from the screen and battery size. The Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.3-inch display, and there's a 3000mAh battery and 3500mAh battery respectively. Otherwise, both sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, with a micro SD card slot and a 12-megapixel camera around the back.
The way this works is, you have to buy both devices on EIP. Once you have bought your Galaxy S8, or Galaxy S8 Plus (or both), you'll need to head to the T-Mobile Promotions website and enter the code 17SAM8BOGO which will give you a $750 credit for the device. Unfortunately, you'll get a $750 credit no matter which device you buy (but hey, a Galaxy S8 Plus for $100 isn't bad either).
