BLUBOO recently introduced one of its newest smartphones, the BLUBOO D1. The big selling point with this smartphone is that it is being positioned as a ‘budget killer.’ Not only is this an extremely affordable smartphone, but it is also one which comes loaded with some pretty decent specs, including a dual rear camera setup. Of course, being able to pack decent specs, inside a decent build, and offer it at an affordable price, is easier said than done. Which may lead some to wonder what is actually inside the device that it can be sold for less than $100. Well, BLUBOO is looking to answer that question as the company has now released a new teardown video of the BLUBOO D1. As is usually the case with such videos, the BLUBOO D1 is completely dismantled showcasing all the parts involved and what makes up the smartphone at the micro level. Which if nothing else, looks to highlight the build quality that is on offer.
For a more general overview, the BLUBOO D1 is a smartphone that comes equipped with a 5-inch display along with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside, the BLUBOO D1 comes loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6580A quad-core processor. On the camera side of things, the BLUBOO D1 comes packed with the already-mentioned dual rear camera setup, spearheaded by an 8-megapixel rear camera and backed up b a 2-megapixel secondary camera. While on the front of the device there is a 5-megapixel camera on offer. Additional features worth noting, include the option to expand the storage, dual-SIM support, a rear-positioned fingerprint scanner, a 2,600 mAh battery, a metal unibody, and Android 7.0 (Nougat) pre-installed.
For those in the market for a new smartphone, the BLUBOO D1 is still currently in its pre-order status and can be ordered for as low as $69.99. Although the pre-order status is set to come to an end soon, with the device expected to go on general sale from May 7. Either way and as part of the launch period, the company also happens to be running a giveaway where you could win the device for free.
