Xperia XZ Premium To Become Available In Europe On June 1st

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium will become available in Europe on June 1st, says O2 Germany. O2 is actually a UK-based carrier, but this is their German outlet, and according to Ronald Quandt, the company confirmed that the Xperia XZ Premium will reach consumers on June 1st. As most of you know by now, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is Sony’s all-new, Snapdragon 835-powered flagship which was introduced back in February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

It is taking Sony quite a bit of time to make the Xperia XZ Premium available in Europe, and it is also worth mentioning that the company announced a new color variant for this smartphone recently, the Bronze Pink model of the Xperia XZ Premium was introduced by Sony Mobile UK. Unfortunately for us, Mr. Quandt did not release any additional info regarding all this, but if the provided information is accurate, European consumers will have to wait a bit longer in order to get the Xperia XZ Premium. Considering that the phone is coming to Germany, chances are that some other parts of Europe will also get it on June 1st, though we’ll have to wait and see what happens, as per usual.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports one of the most powerful chips around at the moment, but that’s not all, this phone also comes with a 4K display, and packs in 4GB of RAM. The Xperia XZ Premium features a 5.46-inch 4K display, and 64GB of expandable internal storage. On the back of this phone, you’ll be able to find a 19-megapixel shooter (Sony’s IMX400 sensor), while a 13-megapixel camera lies on the front side of the phone. A 3,230mAh battery is included in this package as well, and it is not removable, while Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Sony’s custom UI, of course. It is also worth mentioning that the Xperia XZ Premium is made out of metal, and that it is obviously one of Sony’s devices, that is easily noticeable as soon as you see the phone. In addition to the Bronze Pink color option, this handset comes in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black color variants.
