The LG Watch Style Is Live On The Google Store In Canada

The LG Watch Style is live on the Google Store in Canada after having been available in the U.S. since just after its announcement in early February. The watch starts at $319 CAD and can be picked up at that price in either the Silver or Titanium colors, but if you want to spring for the Rose Gold option then you'll need to fork out just a little bit more. For this color option you'll need to pay $40 CAD extra which brings the total amount to $359 CAD. That being said, the color is the only thing that's different here so you aren't getting a more powerful LG Watch Style if you bump up to the more expensive model.

Each color of the LG Watch Style comes with its own different color band that is meant to better match the color of the watch case, though the watch also does support replaceable bands so if you don't care for the color of the strap or band you get with the model you choose, you can simply buy a different band or strap for it, and it's pretty easy to swap out the bands too which makes the whole process that much better.

At the moment this is the only smartwatch that's available on the Google Store in Canada, so consumers who may be more interested in the LG Watch Sport will have to continue waiting for it to show up or find another means of purchasing it. The LG Watch Style comes with a 1.2-inch full circle display with a 360 x 360 resolution and it's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor which was designed specifically for wearables. It comes with a 240mAh battery inside and it has 512MB of RAM as well as 4GB of internal storage, and it's water resistant so if you get caught in the rain with it on or you accidentally spill something on it you should be ok. The watch also comes running on Android Wear 2.0 which means all kinds of new software goodies, like direct access to the Play Store and support for Android Pay, though the watch itself does not support this feature so you won't be able to use it.
